Sacred Heart House of Denver announces the new www.sacredhearthouse.org. The revitalized site offers ways to volunteer and donate to the organization online.
Sacred Heart House of Denver is a non-profit organization offering housing services for homeless women and their children. The House was created in 1980 by Catherine Bevanda after she learned the convent next to Sacred Heart School in lower downtown Denver had closed. The convent had served as a refuge for homeless at that time. Since then Sacred Heart House, with the help of charitable donations, has expanded to offer services to over 1000 women per year.
